Predict.funで約40万USDTの不正送金、全額補償へ
予測市場プラットフォーム「プレディクト・ファン（Predict[.]fun）」の運営チームが、一部ユーザーのウォレットから合計約40万USDT（約6,318万円相当）の不正送金が発生したと10月27日に発表した。プレディクト・ファンは、BNBチェーン（BNB Chain）を構成するレイヤー1ブロックチェーン「BNBスマートチェーン（BNB Smart Chain）」上のプラットフォームだ。
運営チームは今回のインシデントによって直接資金を失ったユーザーに対し、損失額を全額補償する方針を示した。なお、予測市場とは将来の出来事の結果を予測して取引する仕組みで、USDTは米ドルに価格が連動するよう設計されたステーブルコインだ。
運営チームの初期調査では、第三者の事業者がホストするAPIドキュメントサイトが侵害された可能性が示されている。同サイトは、外部の開発者向けにAPIの技術仕様や利用方法を掲載するサイトだ。サイトの侵害によって、短期間に少数のユーザーが影響を受けた可能性があるとのこと。ただし、運営チームはサイトの侵害がどのように不正送金につながったのか、具体的な仕組みを明らかにしていない。
運営チームは予防措置としてAPIドキュメントサイトを停止した。同サイトは調査が完了するまで再開しない方針だ。さらに、調査完了後には事件の経緯と再発防止策をまとめた事後調査報告書を公開する予定だ。
一方、これに先立ち、ブロックチェーン上の資金移動を分析するオンチェーンレンズ（Onchain Lens）は10月27日、不正流出が疑われる約30万ドル（約4,738万円）の資金移動を報告した。同アカウントによると、資金は複数のコントラクトから中継ウォレットを経由し、異なるブロックチェーン間で暗号資産を移動できるサービス「リレイ（Relay）」へ送られたとのこと。
また、これらの資金は別のブロックチェーンへ移動された後、送金経路を追跡しにくくする仕組み「トルネードキャッシュ（Tornado Cash）」へ送られたと報告されている。オンチェーンレンズは追加のアドレスも追跡している。
